Breaking News: Four footed creature found?

Scientists on the Kapiti Coast have been studying a large four legged creature found by a group of hikers descending Mt Kapakapanui. The hikers have claimed to have seen a large human like figure lurking around in the bushes, not far from the track. John Fitzgerald (one of the hikers) explained that “it was just sat there, on four legs, minding its own business until Stewart (another one of the hikers) brought his camera out of his backpack. Within a matter of seconds the animal was scuttling down the mountainside like a jackrabbit. It had strong hind legs and seemed almost as strong as an ape.”

Many local people around the reikorangi area have brought out their cameras and tramped up the mountain, hoping to get a picture or even a quick glimpse of the four legged creature. Many local people have called it the big foot of the south.

Authorities are urging people to stay indoors, though many people are ignoring those rules. According to what the hikers saw, the creature could easily break a window or knock down a door.

Jeremy Richie ( a local farmer ) explained that “ my sheep have been huddled together a lot recently, especially in the night, also many of them have gone missing. I don’t have any explanation for what it could be except for the big foot of the south!”
