Show don't tell writing

Our aim was to upgrade this boring piece of writing into a descriptive piece of writing. This is mine and Edward's.

Boring

The man went to the store. He couldn't find what he wanted, so he left.

Descriptive

The charming cloudy grey haired man exited his house before progressing to the modern supermarket. The man suffered from alzheimer's and short term memory loss. The  grey haired man was perplexed. He couldn’t find the things he was looking for. All he wanted, was to be normal, and some tea!!!
